Unusual Cargo for Europa Showfreight

Europa Showfreight have been asked to move an armoured Personnel Carrier from Israel to the DSEI Exhibition at LONDON EXCEL.

The exhibition DSEI is a high security event with Special Security Passes being issued before anyone is allowed on site. This equipment is Out of Gauge and will arrive by sea on a Flat Rack. It will then be craned onto a Low Loader and driven to Millbrook Test Centre in Bedfordshire.

Record figures for Europa Northampton

Europa Northampton relocated to a new purpose-built site just under eighteen months ago.

At the end of March the depot reported just over 7,000 of the 9,000 spaces of palletised racking were being occupied. With a cross-section of over 20 different customers and the potential of many others at the 'pending stage', the outlook is looking extremely positive.

Anchors away - S.S. Nomadic

Rescued at the 11th hour the only remaining lifeboat from S.S. Nomadic is now safely back in the UK.

Europa Northampton imported the lifeboat from France on behalf of the 'Nomadic Preservation Society'. Her sister ship was the famous S.S.Titanic,

Europa Scotland moves to a new depot in Coatbridge

Europa Scotland has relocated to a new 35,600 sq ft terminal in Coatbridge.

This comes as no great surprise, given the tremendous growth during the last three years achieved by General Manager Alan Green and his highly motivated team. They have seen their monthly consignments grow from an average of 300 per month in March 2004 to now over 1000 European & International consignments being handled through the depot in March 2007.
