Anchors away - S.S. Nomadic
Rescued at the 11th hour the only remaining lifeboat from S.S. Nomadic is now safely back in the UK.
Europa Northampton imported the lifeboat from France on behalf of the 'Nomadic Preservation Society'. Her sister ship was the famous S.S.Titanic,
the last surviving White Star Line vessel in the world. Like Titanic she was built at the famous shipyards of Harland & Wolf and the lifeboat would have been identical to that of the Titanic. The lifeboat will now undergo complete restoration to return her to her former glory after a proud and distinguished odyssey.
