Success for Charity Bikers
Europa Worldwide Logistics were proud to be sponsors of the recent Paris to Geneva charity bike ride. A determined team of 50 riders joined the ProLogis Team to complete the gruelling 340 mile journey.
ProLogis are a major international development firm who specialise in the planning and construction of warehouse and distribution centres and were the chosen developer partner and are now our landlords at the new Birmingham Midpoint facility. ProLogis also worked with Europa during the development of our facility in Grange Park, Northampton.
As the photographs show, Europa played an active logistical role for the team, collecting all the bikes and equipment from ProLogis' Offices in Solihull and delivering them to Paris for the start of the event. Following the completion of the gruelling 340 mile ride from Paris to Geneva achieved between 20th September and 25th September Europa were on hand to congratulate the successful team and transport the bikes and equipment back to Solihull.
This charity cycle ride has raised in excess of £50,000 for a number of local charities including the British Heart Foundation, Marie Curie Cancer Care and the XLP Research Trust.
