Ambitious operator Europa Road has expanded further into the continent having just opened a new base in the Netherlands.
Europa Road is the road freight division of Europa Worldwide Group, and has now set up its own groupage operation in Rotterdam, Europa Road, after 12 months planning.
Europa Road BV opened on 1 February initially with a team of 10, and is led by Guy Dunmow (previously Branch Manager for Europa in Bristol) and Dirk Van Thillo who together have over 60 years’ experience in the industry.
Europa Road provides market leading European road freight services, and the firm already has an established presence in Belgium with Europa Road BV. Europa is bringing its specialist services closer to Netherlands businesses, who are looking for flexible and frictionless logistics options for goods between NL and the UK.
The global operator, which continues to set the pace in the market has ambitious plans for continued investment, despite the economic situation, and believes improving logistics capacity and capabilities for a growing number of local businesses will help them navigate a changing marketplace.
Europa’s road freight division has expanded from being one of the first to establish express services into mainland Europe, to being a leader in groupage, part-load and full-load transport between the UK and EU optimising the flow of goods between Europe and the UK post-Brexit.
Regularly ranking as a leading destination for logistics in Europe, in the World Bank Logistics Performance Index, the Netherlands has very efficient seaports as well as an excellent logistics infrastructure. Europa is now extending its services to Dutch businesses.
Europa offers many choices for road freight, with Groupage, Part Load and Full Load services that optimise the flow of goods between the Netherlands, and the UK.
These are underpinned by its successful DDP product, providing customs expertise that delivers the frictionless delivery of consignments post Brexit.

The global operator recently reported a record turnover of £316m for the last 12 months, as of August 2022, and remains on track with its ambitious investment programme.
