Europa Announces new appointment at Minworth site

Specialist 3pl logistics provider, Europa Warehouse, has appointed a new General Manager at its Birmingham based warehouse at Midpoint Way, Minworth, B76 9EH, who will focus on the continued growth and development of the 180,000 ft2  (16,536m2 ) facility which employs a team of 100.

Alongside Birmingham, Europa Warehouse, a division of leading logistics provider, Europa Worldwide Group, has warehouse sites in Dartford and a brand new £60m site in Corby.

Europa has a huge presence in Minworth, at Prologis Park, in addition to Europa Warehouse two other divisions of the business are based there, Europa Sea as well Europa Road’s regional team.

Europa Warehouse has made an exciting new appointment to drive warehouse growth

Lukas Skowron has worked within the warehouse sector for over 16 years, most recently working as a Site Operations Manager with some of the world’s most established logistics companies.

In his new role with Europa Warehouse, Lukas will be responsible for site compliance, health and safety, quality, performance, team management and training, customer relationship and profitability. With a focus on continuing to build the brand portfolio, Lukas explains his initial focus for the Birmingham based warehouse site will be to bring stability, creating a safe environment that is stable and ready to expand.

Lukas comments:

“It’s a very exciting time to join the Europa Warehouse team which is continuing to grow and expand. For me personally, I see it as a huge opportunity to utilise my years of experience and key skills to develop and progress both the team and site and chance to challenge myself to become an even better person/leader/manager.

“Most importantly, we want to build stronger relationships with our existing customers and showcase that we are a reliable and trustworthy partner which can help to grow their business. In addition, we will be hiring new individuals with the right level of expertise to further develop our team.”

Lukas adds:
