Europa Worldwide Group recognises duo with double promotion
Both based at Europa’s Dartford head office, Vanita Dass-Puri has been promoted to the new position of Group Recruitment and Talent Manager. Nicola Laidlaw-Rolph is promoted to the new role of Deputy Head of Property and Facilities.
The promotions come as Europa continues to expand rapidly. Organic volume growth across the business is running at 20 per cent and its presence in the market is stronger than ever before.
Since joining Europa as Internal Recruitment and Acquisition Manager in September 2017, Vanita Dass-Puri has played a vital role in the team. Vanita now heads up and oversees all of Europa Worldwide Group’s internal recruitment strategy. Part of her role is to grow the recruitment team to deliver a best in class function.
New recruitment programmes
She will also continue to help drive forward Europa’s Rapid Career Development Programme, which provides a serious alternative to university for bright and passionate young people. Vanita has more than 12 years’ experience in recruitment, having previously worked in the retail sector.
As Deputy Head of Property and Facilities, Nicola Laidlaw-Rolph, now leads and facilitates facilities management solutions across Europa’s large estate. She travels across its four warehouse sites, ensuring unification as well as overseeing health and safety compliance. This includes Europa’s state-of-the-art, £30million 1Hub, which celebrated its 4th birthday recently. Nicola joined in 2012 as Procurement Manager, later taking on increased responsibility as Procurement and Facilities Manager in 2014.
