Europa Showfreight Prepares for Growth: New General Manager

Europa Showfreightthe experts in event logistics, have made a strategic decision to promote Jack Baxter to General Manager, who will now be tasked with driving the division forward.

Europa Showfreight is one of six divisions which make up leading logistics firm, Europa Worldwide Group, the others being Europa Warehouse, Europa Air & Sea, Europa Road, Europa Contact Centre and Contiental Cargo Carriers.  

Europa Showfreight New Strategy 

Jack will head up the divison, working alongside Paul Brady, Operations Manager, who joined in June 2019, to rapidly expand the division as soon as the Covid restrictions ease. 

The team have plans to develop their sales force when the events industry recovers. Situated in Birminghamthe Showfreight division will be pulling out all the stops to bounce back 

This will include utilising its connections with the Europa Air & Sea team alongside Europa’s other divisions (Warehouse, Road) to deliver a highly efficient and competitive service for its clients.  

The events industry  

With the Government giving the go ahead for large events to resume from 1 October, the announcement of a new team structure showcases the division’s passion to succeed, and optimism at a time when the industry is facing a huge challenge to recover from the lockdown period. 

Jack Baxter’s Background  

Having worked at Europa for over two years, initially starting his journey within the Europa Road in Leeds, Jack has a deep understand of  the logistics industry.  

Since joining the Showfrieght divison, Jack has quickly climbed the ranks and was recently listed within the prestgious Access All Areas 30 Under 30 2020, which celebrates the most innovative, impactful and intelligent people in the exhibition industry under the age of 30.

The last four months have been a challenge, but we are now only looking to the future and how we can propel the divison forward in a positive direction.”
