The industry leading European road freight team at Europa Road in (Colwick) Nottingham continues to showcase its focus on internal progression with the announcement of two promotions.
Two internal promotions as Europa Road promotes from within
Joe Partner, who joined Europa Road in 2018, has been promoted from Nottingham’s Branch Manager to Regional Manager. Joe has over 10 years’ experience in logistics and in his new role he will be covering the Northern area of the business, which includes five sites from Glasgow to Manchester.
Sam Morgan, who first joined Europa Road in 2019, is now taking on the role as Branch Manager, since being promoted from Senior Road Account Manager.
Prime Nottingham location
Based at Colwick Quays Business Park, the Nottingham Europa Road office has a team of 13.
Important operational restructure
The promotions are part of the internal operational restructure that is underway at Europa Road to ensure customers are supported now the EU transition period has passed.
Europa Road is part of Europa Worldwide Group, and offers European road freight services for both import and export customers across Europe.
On starting his new role as Regional Manager, Joe Partner said:
“I am very excited to be taking on this position and overseeing operations across the Northern region. I will be using the experienced I have gained within the Nottingham team to help build our relationships with customers in the North and continue to provide them with an excellent service.”
On becoming Nottingham’s new Branch Manager, Sam Morgan said:
“I’m thrilled to be taking on this role and heading up our Nottingham branch, especially at such an exciting time for Europa Road as we continue to expand and grow. I look forward to driving the team forward and building our customer network.”
Europa Road’s move to new larger premises
In October 2017, Europa moved to the brand-new Nottingham office after quickly outgrowing its former office at the Civic Centre in Pavilion Road, West Bridgford. The move helped to facilitate the growth of its customer base and internal team, as well as position them as one of the leading European transport providers for businesses across the East Midlands.
Europa Flow helped drive the growth
Europa Road has seen significant success following the introduction of its new unique solution, Europa Flow – which allows goods to move quickly and efficiently between the EU and UK with minimal delays.
